ABB's Solar Duty transformer line is engineered for renewable solar energy applications, particularly solar photovoltaic systems.

Designed for bidirectional operation, these transformers enable power flow to and from the electrical grid and support voltage adjustments between the PV array, inverter, utility interconnection, and end-use load.

Standard configurations feature Wye–Wye connections on both voltage sides for compatibility with grounded-neutral renewable systems.

With a dedicated "Bidirectional" nameplate marking for easy field identification, the Solar Duty line delivers dependable performance in grid-tied and microgrid applications across industrial and commercial solar environments.
