The FBTi is a high performance, low cost BACnet® Unitary Controller with native BACnet/IP communications support. BTL listed as BACnet Building Controller (B-BC), it perfectly complements the FBVi (IP VAV controller) in the IP terminal unit controller range. Utilizing the patented UniPut technology, it provides reliable and cost-effective control solutions for Fan Coil Units, Chilled Ceilings, Heat Pumps and Roof Top Units. Dual IP ports with failsafe switchover connects the FBTi to any open BACnet network and also provides seamless integration to the ABB Cylon system.

Technical Description Cylon® FBU-8R8 Main Plant Controller The FBU-8R8 is a Unitron programmable controller with 8 Universal Inputs and 8 UniPut + Relay channels. It is ideally suited for main plant control, including AHUs, Boilers, Rooftop units and Lighting. The FBU-8R8 supports a single FLX (Field Level eXpansion) series extension module, providing power and flexibility for complex Unitron applications. The FBU Unitron range offers both continued support for existing Unitron installations and the opportunity to implement new Unitron sites. The design is based on the ABB Cylon FBXi hardware and offers the facility of conversion to BACnet if there is a future requirement. This new Unitron hardware replacing the UnitronUC32 range provides forward compatibility, meaning an effortless upgrade path for existing Unitron Systems. The controller accommodates tailoring of custom applications using Cylon’s Engineering Centre (CEC) programming software. FLX I/O Expansion Module The addition of a single FLX-8R8 Expansion module extends the I/O by 8 UniPut to match the UC32.24 use case (16 UniPuts with Relay, 8 Universal Inputs)

Technical Description of Cylon® FBU-net Communications Controller. The FBU-net is an Ethernet-based peer-to-peer Communications Controller, used to network Unitron field controllers. The FBU-net co-ordinates communication between Unitron field controllers, with other FBU-net controllers, and with supervisory systems such as Unitron Command Centre or ASPECT. It can also integrate Modbus devices with the Unitron system.
