Niagara Framework® 4.10u9 now available

Niagara 4.13 brings exciting new features that continue to evolve Niagara’s key tenets of visualization, rapid deployment, security, Edge, connectivity, certification, and IT compliance.

Niagara Framework® has been updated to address a vulnerability in the libwebp component utilized by jxBrowser. The CVE reported is CVE-2023-4863 and has been rescored as 6.8, based on the libwebp component's usage in Niagara.

In response to supply chain adjustments and component end-of-life situations, there are necessary changes to the ABB Cylon®INTEGRA™ IT-8000 on the near horizon. Part of the INTEGRA™ series, the IT-9000 is an embedded Internet of Things (IoT), BTL-listed BACnet® Building Controller (B-BC) that connects to the ABB Cylon® BACnet® field controllers. The IT-9000 is also capable of connection to and network management of a variety of diverse devices and subsystems using various protocols including, but not limited to, Modbus™ and LonWorks™. When connected to an Ethernet or wireless LAN, the INTEGRA™ IT-9000 uses Internet connectivity and web-serving capability to provide integrated control, supervision, network management, scheduling, data logging, alarming, and rich graphical displays through a standard Web browser.

INTEGRA Product overview and buying Guide

INTEGRA-ProPack has been updated to allow an INTEGRA IT-8000 Control Engine to function as a Cylon Smart Router by providing the Cylon Full Upload and Download functionality. Separate versions of INTEGRA-ProPack are available for compatibility with IT-8000 versions 4.9 - 4.11 and IT-8000 version 4.12.

The INTEGRA-ProPack manual provides users with the information needed to install and configure the Cylon Service in Niagara and specific requirements to use with INTEGRA™ hardware. The Cylon Service is an importing tool design to automatically create your BACnet devices and points in the INTEGRA™ framework of an ABB branded IT-8000 device or INTEGRA-Supervisor.
