The Cylon suite of software applications is used to set up, maintain and control the Cylon system in operation. The individual applications ("modules") within the suite are grouped into the Cylon Engineering Centre as shown below. Each of these modules can be started from the Command Centre and Engineering Centre groups in the Windows Start menu.

Cylon SMS Gateway is an optional feature which enables delivery of alarms using SMS text messaging. The software and SMS modem connect directly to the supervisor PC. This enables delivery of alarms using SMS text messaging without the need for internet connections, email accessor SMS service centres.
To get up and running all you need is a SIM card from your preferred GSM provider, the Cylon SMS Gateway software and the GSM SMS modem connected to the PC. Setting up the recipients is done using the Unitron Command Centre 462.1 KB |
